If fortunate enough to “start my story” at Tennessee, what exciting chapters will I be inspired to write? I can only
imagine!
I can imagine being a valuable member of your amazing university. While your school’s excellence is well known,
I still enjoyed getting to know your university better by conducting online research and visiting your wonderful
campus in person. The University of Tennessee is absolutely a top choice for me!
I can imagine the internships and other academic experiences your university can offer. I have a strong interest
in the marketing industry, and what you provide within the Marketing program is intriguing. Also, I am interested
in your International Business minor. I am confident they can strongly prepare me for an ever changing industry.
I can imagine continued academic growth. While my 3.2 GPA may not be ideal, it reflects my journey of
improvement and determination. Throughout high school, I've consistently challenged myself by incorporating
college-level courses into my schedule. This demonstrates my ability to manage a rigorous workload and my
dedication to personal development. As a future Volunteer, I'm eager to build upon this foundation and excel in
your challenging and rewarding academic environment.
I can imagine immersing myself in campus life through active involvement in your student organizations such as
the American Marketing Association and UTKnow Business
Organization. My experience with Adobe program certifications and digital marketing has fostered a passion for
creativity and collaboration. I'm excited to channel this energy into campus initiatives, contributing my skills while
embracing new opportunities for personal and professional growth. By engaging in diverse extracurricular
activities, I aim to enrich my college experience, build lasting connections, and make meaningful contributions to
UT’s community.
I can imagine proudly representing Tennessee during a study abroad program such as your International
business trip to Spain or Prague. Through that experience, and from my prior significant international travels, I
look forward to learning more about other perspectives so I can continue to expand mine and think more
inclusively.
Finally, I can imagine myself in Tennessee! I can bring my perspectives and experiences from living in Illinois and
Colorado to those I will meet. Plus, as a proud Volunteer, I will share my excitement to attend a university with
your academic excellence in Marketing, individual academic attention, robust D1 athletics, relevant student
organizations, and wonderful campus community.
