Environment involves both living organisms and the non-living. 2. What are abiotic and biotic factors ? Biotic and abiotic factors are what make up the ecosystem. Biotic factors are living things within an ecosystem; such as plants, animals, and bacteria while abiotics are non-living components; such as water, soil and atmosphere. 3. List 5 abiotic and 5 biotic factors. Biotic factors include anything living or once alive. include plants, trees, shrubs, etc, animals, kangaroos, etc, bacteria, E. coli, etc eukaryotic microbes, amoebas, etc, and fungi mushrooms, etc. Abiotic factors are all non-living things that occur in an ecosystem. Water, temperature, altitude, solar radiation, and oxygen are five examples of abiotic factors. In addition to these, other physical and chemical factors that affect living beings in ecosystems are soil nutrients.
