Final Group Projects will be due during exam week, as this is your final exam: Each group will be required to make a video presentation of Romeo and Juliet with a different setting than the one in the play. You will need to get your setting approved before beginning work on this project. The actual video will need to be made outside of class. Your group will be responsible for finding someone to video as well as deciding on a time and place to make the video. Evaluation Form for Romeo and Juliet Video Project I. II. III. IV. Plot (+30) – Was the plot line complete or were there major scenes left out? Settings (+30) – Was it obvious how the settings had been changed? Was it obvious who the two groups were? Participation/Cooperation (+30) – How well did the individuals within the groups work together? Overall Quality (+10) – How well was the audience able to hear and see the presentation? Schedule for filming and editing: By April 4 – Have setting and characters decided; have camera in hand By April 28 – Have script figured out; finish filming Act 1/3 By May 12 – Finish filming Act 2/4 By May 26 – Finish filming Acts 3/5 By May 28 – Begin editing process Video must be given to me by Monday, June 9 Exam Week – Watch video in class 1 point extra credit will be given to each group who completes their filming according to the approved schedule. I will also give 1 point extra credit for each teacher that you can find a way to put into your video.
