3.Write an essay which includes the following
words, “Moor turned the key and shoved open the
door.”
Moor looked left and right, hoping to seek a way home. All she could see
was the thousands of monotonous greenery that she had been companions
with for almost two days. Dark, ominous clouds towered her as gusty winds
blew by crinkly leaves. Her hungry soul kept rumbling as she attempted to
make a few steps further. Peering into the distance, a house-like shadow
was seen. Her face rose with Ecstasy. She quickened her pace. An ancient
abandoned board-like mansion stood staring at her.
Glass Shatters and dust spreaded the front porch like icing on a cake. The
door was closed and the cobwebs in front of it suggested it had not been
opened for a long time. Moor turned the key and shoved open the door. It
was pitch black-so dark that even if a hand was extended it could not be
seen. Moor cautiously felt her way to the light switch but her attempt was
futile.
The moonlight shadow cascaded through the crevice of the doorway. Moor
squinted her way to the kitchen area. Moor suddenly saw a flash of horror
and hid herself behind the cabinets. A deep, loud voice shouted “I have
already seen you.” Moor’s conscience told her to surrender but her ego kept
her hidden. The voice continued approaching closer. Moor peaked and
seemed to have a shiny, silvery object glistening in his hand. “Is that a
knife?” She questioned herself while sweating with fear.
Moor needed to escape at this instance. She saw a black cloth that was
layered with smoke ashes, cobwebs. At this moment, she steadily grabbed
the cloth and disguised herself. She crept to the nearest window and snuck
out. “There you are,” the strange voice yelled. Moor ran –faster than she
had ever done in her lifetime. She headed into the direction of the lonesome
forest which she had escaped from. Moor was so exhausted that she fell on
the floor out of breath and laid there unconscious on the floor.
Moor woke to a bright white light beaming into her droopy eyes. In her
distant, she could view people lying in a hospital beds. A white headed
figure as tall as a giraffe that appeared to be around fifty years old stood
beside her. Is that the same person who was chasing after me? Her parents
came rushing towards. Moor later heard that the stranger was her great
grandfather.
He explained to Moor that the reality is that no one has ever came by my
home for three years. As a result of this, he taught that a burglar was in his
home. With a waterfall of tears flowing down their cheeks, Moor and
grandpa embraced each other.
