Oil Spill Prevention During Bunker Barge Loading

advertisement
Q&A Discussion on the theme “how to avoid oil spill While
Bunker Barge Loading from Large-sized floaters”.
In view the increased numbers of Bunker Barge Loading Cargo
from VLCC-Sized Floater @ Kukup / Tg Pelepas STS lightering
location, that triggered the concerns on how to Control the
operation process to manage workplace safety and health
hazards and to prevent any incidents (hereby focus on oil spill
incident).
As part of the seminars, we would like to ran a Q&A with the
theme “how to avoid oil spill While Bunker Barge Loading from
Large-sized floaters”.
The Objectives are to:
 Identify / determine sufficiency of Safety
Operation Process / associated SMS.
 Establish systematic gaps / weaknesses and propose
solutions accordingly.

1. How work is actually performed on your fleet vessels, and how it is planned or expected to be performed as per
your good company SMS?
2. How to bridge the gap between WAD (Work as done actually) and WAI (Work as imagined /expected)?
