3. IS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND
MATERIALS AND THEREFORE CAN GIVE GUIDANCE ON COST

ARCHITECT TO BE USED BY BIDDERS FOR TENDERING

4. PERFORMS ARITHMETIC CHECKS ON THE SUBMITTED BIDS

SPECIFICATIONS , DRG’S AND B.O.Q’S
KEEPS RECORD OF ALL DEVIATIONS FROM CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
MAINTAINS A DAY-TO-DAY DIARY AND AN INSTRUCTION BOOK
SUBMITS TO THE ARCHITECT WEEKLY REPORTS ON PROGRESS OF WORK,
MATERIALS, CONDITION OF PLANT & EQUIPMENT ETC.
ATTENDS SITE MEETINGS AND TAKES MINUTES, BUT ALSO CHAIRS SITE MEETINGS
OF THE ARCHITECT IS NOT AVAILABLE.
