USDA Bangladesh Climate Smart Livestock Project Expression of Interest (EOI) for Innovative Research for Climate-Smart Livestock The USDA-funded ACDI/VOCA Bangladesh Climate Smart Livestock (BCSL) Project is inviting applications for innovative research grants on climate-smart livestock practices from students after the successful completion of four years of graduation courses. Students aged 30 or below, either individually or in affiliation with national or international research institutions or universities, are encouraged to apply. Interested graduates are invited to submit their proposals, along with a cover letter in PDF format, by 5:00 PM on January 31, 2025. Each selected researcher will receive financial support ranging from BDT 500,000 to 800,000, depending on the length, depth, and scope of the research. The funding will be disbursed in three phases: i) 40% at the signing of the agreement; ii) 40% upon submission of a progress report and mid-term evaluation of the research; and iii) 20% upon acceptance of the final research report, including an article/material ready to publish in a peer-reviewed journal. Additionally, expert guidance will be provided throughout the research process. Upon successful completion of the research, the best two will get an opportunity to join the COP 30 event in Brazil and all four will get a chance to intern.
