1 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR CREATING A CLICKABLE LIST OF
FIGURES/TABLES
Step 1. Add figure or table
RESEARCH DESIGN
DATA ANALYSIS
FORMATTING
SAMPLING
TECHNIQUE
SIMULATION
DATA COLLECTION
Step 2. Go to References Tab and Click on “Insert Caption”

Before inserting caption, make sure to put cursor first below the figure or above if table
Step 3. In the Insert Caption, a dialog box will pop up where you can specify what type of caption
will be used. After that just click “OK”

The format of the caption is by default, you can manually change it to the desired font size and
style.
Step 4. After setting up the caption, it should look similar to the example below

Step 5. Creating the List of Figures, go to references tab and click on “insert table of figures”
Step 6. After clicking the insert table of figures a dialog box will pop up

You can modify also how the list of figures will be displayed in the “modify button”
Step 7. After setting up the format and style, it should look similar to the example below
