Mice and the Elephant Story When I first heard the mouse and the elephant story it made me realize that people can be in the same situation but have different points of views. This is because everyone has their own perspective of what they see. It made me think about the saying “Theres three different sides of a story. One person's side, The other persons side, and the truth.” When I got to thinking all three things could be true it just depends on what each person experienced. An example of the mice and the elephant is when I was in high school in band and some people thought our band director was strict, others thought he wasn't strict enough and other people thought he was perfectly fine. We all had the same experience with him (He is the elephant) but we all had different perspectives of him (The students are the mice). The Art of the Interview I only did one interview that I could think of before this class, and I was given questions to ask. So, when I was in class and heard that we were going to be interviewing people I was a little excited. I learned a lot on what questions not to ask people, what questions you can ask but they probably don't want to hear, and how to come up with questions to ask. I learned not to ask negative questions because it could make the vibe of the room off the rest of the time. We talked a lot about not asking the basic questions because they probably hear those questions all the time. When figuring out what questions to ask you can look up the person and see what things interest you. What a student in the Media Literacy class at Ottawa University Arizona thought I liked the class at the beginning but as the class went on longer, I thought it was getting worse. I am a very structured person and would like to know what we were doing. So, when I go to class and don't know what we're going to be doing or what we're going to be talking about. I also wish you would have told us what the oral final was so we could better prepare. I know you said to know the 33 topics but that's a lot to go back over in a couple days to get ready for a final. Overall, I think it was cool to talk about some of the topics we talked about, and I learned a lot more than I thought I was going to. For example, it was nice to learn what actually happened with the Stanford prison experiment, I liked learning about how to interview people effectively and learn what the difference is between Confirmational Bias and Conformational Bias. Why my assignment isn't finished Hello, I'm sorry this final isn't done to my fullest extent. I had family things going on and then I had to pack because I'm leaving for the airport in the next 30 minutes. I don't have any more time to work on it. I understand that I won't get full credit, but I figured something is better than nothing. I hope you have an amazing winter break.
