Please note: When using KSD1-48 and KSD1-64 only 1 drive module (axis package in the basic cabinet) is possible. - When using a top-mounted cabinet, all axis packages are to be mounted preferably in the top-mounted cabinet. - It must be avoided to equip the top-mounted cabinet with only one axis package. - External axes which are operated in Master/Slave mode, must be mounted together either in the basic cabinet or in the top-mounted cabinet. Independent of the amount of packages, the sequence of the axis packages must be kept consequently, as depicted in the schematic illustrations. It is possible to operate up to 6 external axes with the KR C2 basic and top-mounted cabinet. The assignment of motortypes to the appropriate drive modules (axis packages) can be seen from the table under Options Drive Technology External Axes.
