Global ID Policy 1S This policy is available in Arabic, French, German, Korean, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. If you are testing in Japan, refer to this policy instead. Quick links • • • ID requirements Examples of acceptable IDs Contacting Pearson VUE ID requirements If your exam sponsor follows Global ID Policy 1S, you must bring one primary ID and one secondary ID to the test center: Primary ID requirements: • The ID must have your first and last name; a recent, recognizable photo; and your signature. The first and last name on the ID must match the first and last name you used to register for the exam. • The ID must be original (not a photocopy or digital ID), valid (unexpired), and government issued. Note: Expired IDs are acceptable if accompanied by renewal paperwork. • The ID must be issued from the country in which you are testing (except for EU cards, which are acceptable in any country within the EU Zone). Note: If you do not have a primary ID from the country in which you are testing, you must bring an international travel passport. The passport must be issued from your country of citizenship, and the information on the passport must be in Roman characters. Secondary ID requirements: • The ID must have one of these combinations: o Your name (first and last) and a signature o Your name (first and last) and a recent, recognizable photo • The first and last name on the ID must match the first and last name you used to register for the exam. • The ID must be original (not a photocopy or digital ID) and valid (unexpired). It does not need to be government issued. Note: Expired IDs are acceptable if accompanied by renewal paperwork. • If the ID was not issued from the country in which you are testing, the ID must be in Roman characters. Note: Government-issued local language IDs are not acceptable outside the country from which the ID was issued.
