Numerical solution of partial differential equation based on radial basis
Function Interpolation.
Title:
Short Detail: In our project we have learned Radial Basis Functions (RBFS) and
Interpolation based on RBFs. Radial basis function is real valued
function, whose value depends only on the distance between the input
and some fixed points. We have also learned that radial basis functions
are dimension friendly because it works on distance weather that’s in
one dimension or more dimensions. There are many methods used for
the numerical solution of PDE’S, but we have only discussed Kansa’s
and Fausshauers’s approaches. We have discussed ill conditioning
attached with the symmetric and Non-symmetric approaches of Fausshauer
and Kansa. We have briefly discussed the preconditioning statargies
of these methods. I want to extend my this all study of preconditioning
with some practical examples on high level in future.
