Danger : Do not touch electrical equipment with wet hands during operation. (e.g. : PSE output cable, electrolyzer, inside panel) 3.2 Operating Instructions This section contains step-by-step instructions for operating the EcoGuardianTM system. Read carefully below for preparation, status and risk or warning precautions. 3.3 Preparation and Inspection condition 1) Use the EcoGuardian ™ system when operating a Valast Pump (or GS pump). 2) Check the power supply of all equipment and signal status of all sensors on the EcoGuardian ™ system. 3) Check the remaining amount of the TRO sensor reagent and also check the date of the last replacement. Refill or replace the TRO sensor reagent, if necessary. Also check that the cooling fan in the reagent is working properly without running the EcoGuardian™ system 4) Check the valve location of the EcoGuardian™. 5) Check the alarm list and clear the last executed alarm. 6) Check the remaining amount of the neutralizer and the date of the last replacement when deballasting. Refill or replace neutralizer if necessary. 7) Check the current date and time of the control system clock and reset if necessary. (If it is a DGPS connection, it is automatically synchronized to GMT time.) 8) Prior to handling the system, be aware of all guidance for EcoGuardian™system. - 17 - EcoGuardianTM(Ballast Water Treatment System) MANUAL 3.4 DGPS Logging #LOGGING DATA (DGPS NMEA table) Name Example UNIT ①Latitude #1 34 Degree dd(xx) ②Latitude #2 44 Minute mm(xx) ③Latitude #3 6400 Minute .mmmm(0.xxxx) ④Latitude #4 N (N/S Indicator) N=north or S=south ⑤Longitude #1 126 Degree ddd(xxx) ⑥Longitude #2 19 Minute mm(xx) ⑦Longitude #3 5697 Minute .mmmm(0.xxxx) ⑧Longitude #4 E (E/W Indicator) E=east or W=west 34° 44´.6400´N126° 19´.5697´E ① ② ③ ④ Position Logging ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑧ Position format Position format (dd°mm´.mmmm’) (dd°mm´ss.s”) Latitude #0123 34446400 N 34°44´.6400´N(0.6500x60=38.4”) 34°44´38.4" N Longitude #0123 126195697 E 126°19'5697´E(5697x60=34.1”) 126°19'34.1" E - 18 - EcoGuardianTM(Ballast Water Treatment System) MANUAL 3.5 Data logging When the system is started, all data is automatically recorded for 24 months. 1) Location and duration of recording The data is recorded in the SD card of HMI in MCP, RCP.
