A FALLING LEAF By Emmanuel Manjolo-(Lustre.RT)-Malawi I don't know if I am dreaming or if this is real My life under a tree of life is good in a veiled secret I enjoy tramping on dry leaves, listening to the shih sound produced As we drive beneath summer, the level of joy is unimaginable Many leaves fall on the ground, one by one from the sky They are detached and immediately forget where they are coming from Leaving elders and youths in rivers of tears flooding down their cheeks Repeatedly we cry as another one has fallen again Striking the families with memories that are not easily disappear. The grandpa has tuned the radio under the tree Listening to the meaning of the falling leaf from the sky The falling that can never be replaced to fit the specialty of the gap The grandpa cried…..''What is done is done, how I can reverse it'' The gathered cloud listening to the unveiled secret of the Tree of Life Repeatedly we cry as another one has fallen again Striking the families with memories that are not easily disappear. A little boy is happily thrown up in the sky, disturbing the layers of the air in the high Thinking life is infinity when a glance, in ignorance curving woods for forever Making plans for their future life, based on us Taking advantage of their age to aim high Building themselves to become good leaders of the times Their life under a Tree of Life is good in a veiled secret Having no understanding of a falling leaf down from the sky Cheating themselves, life is so good and no holes exist to fall in As they grow the meaning of a falling leaf in parallel grows Repeatedly we cry as another one has fallen again Striking the families with memories that are not easily disappear.
