Job Description: Performs test and repair of electronic assemblies to the component level; utilizing block diagrams and schematics • Performs test equipment maintenance and upkeep • Aids other technicians in troubleshooting problems as able. • Communicates problems to proper WIP Lead, Engineering Tech and/or Supervisor. • Develop skills and knowledge with testing and calibration of units. • Complies with quality assurance policies and methodologies; develops and strong quality orientation; consistently produces high quality work • Maintains a clean/safe, work environment and follows all published/posted safety standards (daily use of ESD and safety protective devices: eye protection, wrist straps, etc.). • Able to perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above • Aids leadership by recommending improvements in test processes and repair techniques • Repairs high complexity assemblies to component level • Provides feedback to leadership regarding product flow and work sequence • Documents improved test and/or repair techniques • Monitors production processes and repair actions to decrease No Problem Found (NPF) and Could Not Duplicate (CND) issues• Perform test equipment maintenance, up keep, and recommends improvements to repair process. Qualifications / Education / Experience: Two-year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by Odyssey management.
