Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our esteemed institution as an Assistant
Professor in Computer Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for
teaching undergraduate courses in computer science, conducting research, and
contributing to the academic and professional development of students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver undergraduate-level courses in computer science, including lectures,
seminars, and laboratory sessions.
Prepare and update course materials, such as syllabus, lecture notes, and assignments,
to ensure alignment with curriculum standards and industry advancements.
Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication, in areas relevant to
computer science.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students, guiding them in
their academic and career pursuits.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities to
support the department's goals and initiatives.
Stay abreast of developments in the field of computer science and integrate new
knowledge and technologies into teaching and research activities.
Qualifications:










Completion of the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) in
Computer Science.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized
institution.
Strong knowledge and understanding of computer science principles and theories.
Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students is preferred but not
mandatory.
Proficiency in programming languages, software tools, and technologies relevant to
computer science education and research.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate
students from diverse backgrounds.
A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student
success.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates with relevant industry experience or certifications may be given preference.
Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities, such as student organizations or
