Challenge: Use the given supplies to build a boat that will hold the most pennies without sinking!
Materials Allowed:
• 0-5 popsicle Sticks (you don’t need to use all!)
• 18 inches of Aluminum foil
• Pennies
Rules:
• You won’t be able to get extra supplies if you break any, so be sure to be careful
• You will have exactly 20 minutes to build AND test your boat
• You may test your designs in the buckets of water by adding pennies to your boat
• When you count the pennies that your boat can hold, do not count the final penny that made your boat sink!
• You must use your hands to make your boat, as well as a flat surface
• No other materials may be used
• There are MANY ways to complete this. Get creative!
