PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL SYSTEM CAMPUS: MAIN CAMPUS ACTIVITY PROPOSAL FORM AP NO.: _______________________ (EC/CC-YYYY-NNN-VVV) TITLE OF ACTIVITY: “Chix n’ Drinx!” - Fundraising for Social Science 6 Community Project, “The Learning Chemis-Tree” RATIONALE: Our community project “The Learning Chemis-Tree” aims to provide the Grade 5 students of The Learning Tree Child Growth Center scientific experiments matched with their current curriculum, in order to bridge their campus’ current gaps in facilities. With this, funds are needed to support the procurement of necessary materials and printing of supplementary modules. We plan to raise this by selling summer food and refreshments to the PSHS-MC community at this coming Youth, Mathematics, Science and Technology (YMSAT) 2024 Fair. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY: “Chix n’ Drinx!” will sell chicken popcorns in four different flavors: barbecue, cheese, sour cream, and salt-and-pepper. Alongside this, we will sell blue lemonade, coke, sprite, and royal as drinks. We will also sell cold desserts, specifically iced scramble and snow cones in grape and orange flavors. VENUE: Kalachuchi Lane DURATION AND SCHEDULE: We will cook and sell from February 27 to March 1, 2024. INTENDED PARTICIPANTS: The “Chix n’ Drinx!” fundraiser will be conducted by our group from 12-E, composed of John Daniel Dela Cruz, Gef Lim, Kelly Raizel Magcalas, Mathew Serna, Zsarina Timbreza, and Carl Valois. The food will be served to the whole PSHS-MC community, including guests in the YMSAT 2024 Fair. TARGET ACCOMPLISHMENT: This fundraiser aims to raise enough funds to compensate for the money spent on procuring resources that were used in the experiments conducted during the group’s science enrichment program with the students of The Learning Tree Child Growth Center.
