CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS
Majorette Club
Article I: Name
The name of this organization shall be the Majorette Club.
Article II: Purpose
The purpose of the Majorette Club is to promote and enhance the art of
majorette and baton twirling, foster a sense of teamwork and camaraderie among
members, and represent the club in performances and competitions.
Article III: Membership
Section 1: Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to all students of Himanag National High School
who have an interest in majorette and baton twirling, regardless of age,
gender, race, or skill level.
Section 2: Membership Categories
The club shall have the following membership categories:
- Regular Members: Individuals actively participating in club activities.
- Associate Members: Individuals who support the club but do not
actively participate in performances.
- Honorary Members: Individuals recognized for their significant
contributions to the club including alumni majorette.
Section 3: Membership Requirements
To become a member, individuals must submit a completed
membership application and fulfill any other requirements set by the club.

Section 4: Rights and Responsibilities
Members have the right to participate in club activities and vote in club
elections. Members are also expected to abide by the club's code of conduct and
uphold its values.
Article IV: Officers
Section 1: Officer Positions
The officers of the club shall consist of a Leader, Assistant Leader,
Secretary, Treasurer, Event Coordinator, Public Relations Officer,
Costume and Equipment Manager, Training and Development officer,
Community Outreach Coordinator, Safety Officer.
Section 2: Election of Officers
Officers shall be elected by a majority vote of the membership at
the annual meeting. Officers shall serve a term of one year, with the
option to be re-elected for additional terms.
Section 3: Duties of Officers
The Leader shall oversee the operations of the club, preside over
meetings, and represent the club in official capacities.
The Assistant Leader shall assist the Leader and perform the Leader’s
duties in their absence.
The Secretary shall keep records of meetings and club activities.
The Treasurer shall manage the club's finances and budget.
The Event Coordinator plans and organize club events, performances,
and competitions.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) promotes the club, maintains social
media accounts, and communicates with the public.
The Costume and Equipment Manager (CosEM) manages costumes,
uniforms, and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition.
The Training and Development Officer ( TDO) organizes training
sessions, workshops, and skill-building activities for club members.

The Community Outreach Coordinator (COC) organizes community
service projects and represents the club in the community events.
The Safety Officer ensures the safety of the club members during
practices and performance.
Article V: Meetings
Section 1: Regular Meetings
Regular meetings shall be held every first Monday of each month at 4:00
in the afternoon.
Section 2: Special Meetings
Special meetings may be called by the Leader or upon request of club
adviser/s and school head.
Section 3: Quorum
A quorum for meetings shall consist of 2/3 of the members present.
Article VI: Finances
Section 1: Fiscal Year
The club shall operate on a fiscal year basis from January-December.
Section 2: Budget
The Treasurer shall prepare a budget for the fiscal year and present it to
the membership for approval.
Section 3: Banking
All funds of the club shall be deposited in a bank account approved by the
membership.

Article VII: Amendments
Section 1: Amendment Process
Amendments to the constitution and bylaws may be proposed by any
member and must be approved by a 2/3 vote of the membership.
Article VIII: Dissolution
Section 1: Distribution of Assets
In the event of dissolution of the club, any remaining assets shall be
distributed to all regular members only.
Article IX: Parliamentary Authority
The rules contained in "Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised" shall govern
the club in all cases to which they are applicable and in which they are not
inconsistent with the constitution and bylaws of the club.
Article X: Adoption
This constitution and bylaws shall be adopted upon approval by a majority or
vote of the membership.
Article XI: Effective Date
This constitution and bylaws shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
Amendments
Any amendments to this constitution and bylaws shall be recorded in the
official minutes of the club and kept on file with the Secretary.
