Project Proposal: Adopt a Creek Project
1. Project Title:
Creek Cleaning Initiative in Purok 4, Moras Dela Paz, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga
2. Project Overview:
This project aims to clean and rehabilitate the creek in Purok 4, Moras Dela Paz, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
It aligns with the Bagong Pilipinas Program: Kalinga at inisyatiba para sa malinis na bayan and is part of
the Local Youth Development Plan to foster environmental stewardship and community engagement
among the youth.
3. Objectives:




Remove trash and debris from the creek to improve water quality.
Enhance the local environment and promote biodiversity.
Raise awareness about environmental conservation among the local youth and community
members.
Foster a sense of responsibility and community spirit among the youth.
4. Target Beneficiaries:
Residents of Purok 4, Moras Dela Paz, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga
Local flora and fauna dependent on the creek ecosystem
Youth volunteers participating in the project
5. Project Activities:
Phase 1: Planning and Coordination
Conduct initial site assessment and identify specific cleaning needs.
Coordinate with local government units, environmental organizations, and community leaders.
Secure necessary permits and support from local authorities.
Form a project team and assign roles and responsibilities.
Phase 2: Community Engagement and Awareness Campaign
Organize community meetings to inform residents about the project and its benefits.
Launch a social media campaign to raise awareness and recruit volunteers.
Distribute informational materials about the importance of creek conservation.
Phase 3: Clean-Up Operation
Equip volunteers with protective gear and cleaning tools.
Conduct the clean-up operation over a designated weekend.
