Title: The exploration of word construction challenges in essay writing among Grade 12 Valiant HUMSS
students at Cabugao Integrated School
Justification:
The value of word construction in communication cannot be overstated. The manner in which words are
structured plays a crucial role in conveying ideas with clarity and precision. Well-constructed words not
only enhance the overall quality of expression but also contribute to the effectiveness of the message
being communicated. By carefully considering the construction of words, individuals can ensure that
their communication is articulate, impactful, and resonates with the intended meaning. Moreover, As
mentioned in the study of Pichette, F., et.,al(2012)Reading and writing sentences for acquiring new
vocabulary in a second language. May help the students to improve their writing and they will know
how to use a word in a sentence.Additionally.As stated by Zou, D. (2017). It explores the impact of three
common evaluation approaches (cloze-exercises, sentence-writing, and composition-writing) on
vocabulary acquisition. These common approaches evaluates the understanding of the student in the
text.The research design are going to use is descriptive method.This study entitled The exploration of
word construction challenges in essay writing among Grade 12 Valiant HUMSS students at Cabugao
Integrated School is justified by the need to enhance the writing skills and academic development of
these students. Understanding the specific difficulties they encounter in constructing words for essays
provides valuable insights into their learning needs. This qualitative inquiry seeks to identify and address
difficulties in word construction, ultimately aiming to improve the overall quality of essay writing. By
justifying this exploration, The Researcher are acknowledging the importance of tailoring educational
approaches to the unique challenges faced by students in a specific academic context, fostering an
environment that promotes effective communication and academic success.
