At INCAE, my initial efforts focused on optimizing the management of
international funds through a three-phase enhancement strategy: first, the
creation of policies and financial manuals for grants, along with guidelines
that ensure compliance with international standards; second, a training
program for the principal implementing areas; and finally, the design and
execution of an institutional strategy to enhance the prospecting and
acquisition of new and additional funds. Additionally, I lead the
implementation of international external audits, both programmatic and
financial, for U.S. federal funds (USAID, ASHA, DOE) and private funds
(Mastercard, Pricesmart Philanthropy, Cargill, The Aspen Institute, and Banco
Industrial). On a monthly basis, I coordinate the supervision of financial
expenditure and policy compliance for all programs implemented in the
Central American region, Colombia, and Peru. Strategically, I am entrusted
with overseeing the organization’s CAPEX investments, contributing to
INCAE's continuous improvement.

Ten years of experience managing international consulting contracts,
grants with Central American NGO and technical support for institutional

Financial management of the Program with a USD 11.3 million dollars
budget, in addition to being responsible for administrative and legal
operations; monitoring and compliance to audit processes and accounting
policies and guidelines. As a result, 124 subgrant contracts were obtained, 46

contributed to monitor and evaluate the security of international donors

the DOE (Department of Estate) increased our potential opportunity to new

For two years, I served as the Finance Administrator for the GIK program,
overseeing the management of over $10 million annually in imported
products and donations designated for humanitarian aid in Nicaragua's
rural communities. This initiative significantly contributed to the social
development of more than 20,000 Nicaraguan families. These donated
products were integrated into various programs to drive transformation,
create impactful changes, and achieve measurable goals in the
beneficiaries' economy, education, and welfare. My primary responsibilities
included handling import processes from the United States, Canada,
Germany, and New Zealand; coordinating nationwide distribution of
donations; managing warehouses and personnel; maintaining inventory
control; and ensuring accountability to donor companies.

Two years working as a project advisor for the World Vision sponsorship
area, this program focuses on the coordination of relationships between
donors and sponsored children, including the administration of study
funds, international communications with support offices (USA, New
Zealand, Canada, Germany, Taiwan) and the accompaniment and
integration of children in the different education, health,
entrepreneurship, religion, agriculture, water and sanitation and
environment projects. I was responsible and coordinator of the Annual
Progress Report, aimed at donors and World Vision support offices, which
demonstrated the impact and results achieved with the annual
investment of funds in each program area.
