Symptom
Symptom 1
In SAP S/4HANA on-premise 2021 SP00 when you haven't implemented notes for optimized data model and algorithm (3097908 Optimized Data Model and Algorithm), you want flows of accounting documents with 0 chain step to be available.
You have activated source application "Accounting" and set 0 as chain step in configuration Financial Supply Chain Management ->
Cash and Liquidity Management -> Cash Management -> Data Setup -> Runtime Parameters for Flow Builder.
However, flows are not generated automatically after the accounting operations.
Symptom 2
In SAP S/4HANA on-premise 2021 SP01-02, or SP00 when you have implemented notes for optimized data model and algorithm, you
want data of cash position and material management to be available with following settings:
1. Activating source applications "Accounting" and "Materials Management";
2. Enabling "Optimized data model and algorithm" in the configuration guide Define Basic Settings under Financial Supply Chain
Management -> Cash and Liquidity Management;
3. Setting "Cash Position Only" or "Cash Position & Liquidity Analysis" as the accounting scope in configuration Financial Supply
Chain Management -> Cash and Liquidity Management -> Cash Management -> Data Setup -> Define Source Application
Accounting.
However, data of cash position and material management is not generated automatically after the accounting operations.
