UMES Street Team Executive Board
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Street Team is a dynamic student organization
dedicated to promoting campus events, fostering school spirit, and engaging the university
community. As a vital part of UMES, the Street Team enhances campus life through a variety of
activities including distributing promotional materials, organizing events, and representing the
university at various functions. Additionally, the Street Team functions as a social media team,
creating and managing content that resonates with the student body and broader university
community.
President
The President leads the UMES Street Team, maintaining regular communication with various
university organizations, clubs, and sports teams. This role involves ensuring all team activities
align with the mission and objectives of the Street Team. The President oversees the overall
operation and strategic direction of the team, fostering a collaborative and motivated
environment.
Creative Director
The Creative Director is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation of engaging and
innovative content for social media and campus events. This role ensures that all content
embodies the spirit and culture of UMES, working closely with other team members to generate
fresh and impactful ideas.
Project Managers (2)
Project Managers are tasked with managing the planning, execution, and completion of specific
projects and events. They coordinate with different departments to ensure that all aspects of a
project are aligned and executed smoothly. Project Managers monitor progress and make
necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and achieve objectives, ensuring the success of each
initiative.
Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager is responsible for handling the UMES Street Team's social media
presence. This role includes creating, curating, and managing all published content, engaging
with the university community, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing metrics to
optimize reach and engagement. The Social Media Manager plays a critical role in promoting
campus events and maintaining a vibrant online presence for the Street Team.
