• How to conduct Pre-mission Checks

Vehicle Readiness
It is essenital to have all vehicles and
equipment prepared proir to deploying on
the ground, this will ensure the team are
ready do conduct their mission without any
delay.
Pre-Mission Checks
• Done prior to a mission
• Should be conducted no more than 24 hours prior to the
mission
• After pre-mission checks vehicles are not used until the
mission
• Use a checklist to prevent missing any steps
Pre-Mission Checklist
• Vehicle exterior
• Fluid leaks
• Windows and mirriors
• Tyre condition and pressures (including spare)
• Fuel level
• Oil and coolant
• Engine hoses and belts
Pre-Mission Checklist
Check operation of:
- Headlights
- Tail lights
- Turn signals
- Horn
- Doors, boot, bonnet
- Guages
- Seat belts
Pre-Mission Checklist
• Vehicle exterior
• Fluid leaks
• Windows and mirriors
• Tyre condition and pressures (including spare)
• Fuel level
• Oil and coolant
• Engine hoses and belts
Emergency Equipment
• Medical kit
• Fire extinguisher
• Tyre changhing equipmemnt
• Radios
• Spare weapons
• Torch
• Water
Post-Mission Check
• Refill fuel
• Wash and clean vehicle
• Check emergency equipment
- Remove and mission specific equipment (OPSEC)
• Park in secure locastion
