L/SURV/ONL/RV/KA/ (2024-2025)/ 26 dated 11th Jul 2024 Dear Sir, We refer to the news item circulating in the mainstream media “businesstoday” on July 11, 2024 captioned “Shares of Data Patterns (India) Ltd ended 6% higher today after Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) sanctioned a new project to the defence firm under the Technology Development Fund scheme.” We would like to inform that while Data Patterns (India) Limited has signed the contract with Defence Research and Development Organisation (“DRDO”), with a contract value of Rs. 10 Crores, we are yet to receive the counter-signed contract from DRDO. Out of the Rs.10 Crore, Rs.9 Crore will be funded by DRDO as grant-in-aid under Technology Development Fund Scheme and remaining Rs.1 Crore needs to be borne by the Company. We, therefore, to the best of the information available with the management, would like to submit that the information about the aforementioned contract with DRDO is not considered material since the value of the Contract does not qualify as material of event/information and hence, does not warrant a disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Moreover, considering the sensitive nature of the contracts, disclosure of such information is restricted under the Contract/NDA with the Government customer, unless it is brought to the public domain by the Government customer themselves.
