J&M Crops has swiftly become a recognized leader in the region, seamlessly
blending traditional farming methods with cutting-edge technology. The
company's state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced greenhouses
designed for precision cultivation, stand as a testament to its commitment to
innovation.
INTRODUCTION
This innovative application leverages cuttingedge technology to optimize the management of
seedling growth and crop health. By integrating
sensors to measure soil moisture, water levels,
UV light exposure, temperature, and humidity, the
system provides real-time data to ensure optimal
growing conditions.
Key features include precise water scheduling
and an advanced crop disease detection system,
capable of identifying common diseases such as
Bacteria Infected, Downy Mildew, Powdery
Mildew, Septoria Blight, Viral Disease, Wilt, and
Leaf Blight. The application also incorporates a

communication via SMS, ensuring farmers receive
critical updates and alerts anytime, anywhere.
This comprehensive solution is designed to

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Developed specifically for J&M Hydroponic Farm, SeedVision is an
advanced mobile application designed to revolutionize the way farmers
manage their crops. By integrating state-of-the-art technology, SeedVision
offers comprehensive monitoring and management solutions to ensure
optimal growth conditions for crops.
Android Device
Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System in its
highest version with a minimum of 1 GHz for the
average processor and at least 2 GB of RAM with
18 GB inbuilt
Internet Connection
The application relies on real-time data
transmission and remote communication to
provide accurate monitoring and timely updates.
Ensure that your device is connected to a reliable
internet source to fully utilize SeedVision's
features, including remote monitoring, SMS alerts,
and cloud-based data storage.
Processor
For optimal performance and a seamless user
experience, we recommend that the Admin device
be equipped with a 2 GHz processor and the
latest available version of the Android operating
system. These specifications ensure smooth
operation, allowing the Admin to efficiently
manage the various functionalities of SeedVision.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Download the APK
Obtain the application's APK file in order to deploy it. You can obtain it
from various locations, such as the developer's files.

Locate the APK
Navigate to the folder or location where the APK file was downloaded. The
default location is the "Downloads" folder, but this can very depending on
your preferences.

Start the Installation
To begin the installation procedure, tap the APK file. A confirmation
prompt may appear before installing the application. Review the app's
requested permissions and proceed if you agree with them.
Install the APK
To initiate the installation, tap the "Install" button. The device will now
extract the necessary files and install the APK.

Complete the Installation
Once the installation is complete, you will see a message stating "App
Installed" or something similar. You can choose to launch the app directly
from that location or you can access it later from the app drawer or main
screen.

I. DASHBOARD
1. Navigation Bar
The bottom navigation bar in SeedVision, a
mobile app for seedling monitoring, water
scheduling, and crop disease detection at
J&M Farm, offers quick access to essential
features.
The
Dashboard
provides
summarized data and quick actions.
Notification lists SMS reports of stats and
times. Harvest Data includes a calendar for
harvest dates. Capture Image lets users
upload crop photos for disease detection.
Realtime Disease Detection scans crops
using the camera. About Us provides
developer information. This design ensures
efficient farm management.
2. System Analytics and Data
Summaries
On this page, it provides analytics and
summarized data, offering valuable insights
into system performance and trends. Users
can monitor key metrics like water usage
and disease detected.

3. Quick Action Buttons
On this page, it shows the quick action
buttons implemented to remotely trigger
hardware functions, allowing users to
efficiently control the system from their
mobile devices. These buttons include
"Force Water," "Status Update," "Phone
Number," and "Schedule Watering." They
enable immediate watering, provide realtime system information, update contact
details, and set automated watering
schedules,
enhancing
control
and
improving crop management.
4. Quick Action Button: Status Update
On this page, when you click the Status
Update button in the quick action buttons
on the Dashboard of SeedVision, a prompt
appears saying, "Request Status: Request
sent successfully." The app then sends an
SMS to provide you with the current status
of your crop. This status includes detailed
information on water level, temperature,
moisture, humidity, and UV light exposure,
helping you monitor the crop's conditions in
real time.

5. Quick Action Button: Phone Number
The next action button is Phone Number,
which shows phone number validation. This
ensures that users enter a valid phone
number of the hardware SIM card used in
the GSM module for authentication and
communication
purposes.
This
step
enhances security and ensures accurate
data transmission.
6. Quick Action Button:
Schedule Watering
On this page, you will find the Schedule
Watering action button, which allows you to
set watering schedules remotely. Tap the
button, specify the times and duration for
watering your crops, and confirm the
schedule. This activates the watering
functions on the hardware, ensuring your
crops
receive
adequate
water
as
scheduled. The system dashboard will
update in real-time, providing feedback on
the watering status and helping maintain
optimal soil moisture levels for healthy crop
growth.

7. Notification List
On this page, the Notification section of the
bottom navigation bar, you'll find a colorcoded legend indicating the status of
notifications. This page shows a list of all
actions that have been performed within
the app, providing a clear overview of
updates and activities.

8. Crop Reminder List
On this page, the Harvest Date
section of the bottom navigation bar
shows a list of crops to remind
users of upcoming harvest events,
facilitating efficient planning and
management
of
agricultural
activities. Input forms are provided
for users to set scheduled harvest
dates, with the system automatically
calculating dates based on the
planted
date,
simplifying
the
process for users.

IV. Capture Image
9. Upload Image
On this page, you'll find the Capture Image
section of the bottom navigation bar. Here,
you can choose to capture a photo using
the camera installed in your hardware or
select an image from your gallery. The app
then analyzes the image for crop disease
detection and provides relevant feedback
based on the analysis.
10. Analysis Details Page
On the same page, after you upload an
image or request a capture using the
camera in our hardware, a prompt will pop
up titled "Pick and Analyze Image." Here,
you'll be asked to input details about the
crop, such as its plant name, the specific
area where the crop is located, pot number,
and the date and time of the image capture.
These details help in accurately analyzing
the image for crop disease detection and
ensuring comprehensive monitoring and
management of each crop instance.

V. Capture Image
11. Crop Disease History List
On the same page, after inputting
details for the crop, the SeedVision
app will display the Crop Disease
History screen. This screen shows
recorded disease statuses for
various plants, detailing information
such as plant area, pot number, and
timestamp of when the data was
saved. It includes filter options that
allow users to sort the history by
plant name, disease type, date, and
area. These filters enable quick
access
to
specific
records,
facilitating efficient monitoring and
management of crop health over
time.

Kenneth B. Galvez
System Design & Documentation
Mr. Kenneth B. Galvez, born on August 23, 2002, in Dasmariñas Medical
Center City, Cavite, received unwavering support from his parents,
Michelle and Garry Galvez. He attended San Miguel Elementary School
(2009-2014) and Dasmariñas North National High School (2014-2018),
excelling academically and in extracurricular activities, earning
recognition as the best anchor in a news presenting event and as an
Honor Student.
At Dr. Jose P. Rizal Senior High School (2018-2020), he specialized in
Technical Drafting. Currently, Kenneth is pursuing a Bachelor of Science
in Computer Science at Cavite State University Bacoor Campus,
focusing on algorithms, data structures, web development, and artificial
intelligence, and is set to graduate in 2024.

Front & Back-end Developer
Mr. Joshua D. Mahinay, born on September 17, 2001, in Las Piñas City, is
a passionate individual in the field of information and communication
technology. He completed his secondary education at Las Piñas
National High School - Main Campus (2014-2018), where he excelled
academically. Joshua pursued Technical Vocational ICT - Programming
at ABE International College (2018-2019), developing strong coding
skills. In 2019, he began his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at
Cavite State University, focusing on algorithms, data structures, web
development, and artificial intelligence.
Joshua's journey reflects his dedication to technology and education,
with a commitment to realizing his aspirations. He is expected to
graduate in 2024.

Hardware Development Engineer
Mr. Christian Rjhie T. Reyes, born on April 7, 2001, in Bacoor, Cavite,
resides in Poblacion Bacoor City, Cavite. His parents are Ma. Lea Reyes
and Jimmy Reyes. Christian attended St. Michael’s Institute (2008-2014),
excelling as an Honor Student and earning a Bronze Medal in 20172018. He completed his senior high school at Perpetual Help System
Dalta, Las Piñas Campus (2018-2020), specializing in the STEM strand
and receiving subject proficiency awards.
Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at
Cavite State University Bacoor Campus, focusing on algorithms, data
structures, web development, and artificial intelligence. He is expected
to graduate in 2024.
