Feature + Benefits
Why SU:M Series
“High Performance with MEKICS unique technology.”
Conventional to HFO only use one touch without circuit change.
“Optimal Care in Respiratory with unique technology.”
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
O2Stream®
HFT application – Jet Flow, Humidity High Oxygen
-Minimized Dead Space of upper airway
-Support Acute to Weaning Patient
Application
-High Flow Therapy Oxygen Blender + Pressure Limitation
-Nasal Continuous Oxygen Blended Flow
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
Auto Vent
Basic concept is MMV and PRVC(Minute Volume Ventilation)
Automatically changed to ACV, SIMV and Spont+PS according to Patient’s
condition.

HFV of SU:M3
SHFV and DHFV
DHFV has intermediate exhaled time.
Additional, it has CMV Rate and Ex_Time.
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
HFV of SU:M3
Benefit of DHFV(HFV+IMV)
- Available Measuring EtCO2 in Ex_Time.
- Intermediately CMV Breathing
Increasing CO2 exhalation at insufficient ventilation of SHFV
- Low Maintenance Cost

2015 New Software Version 2.50
1) AwPRV Mode : AwPRV mode added. – Optional function.
2) Circuit Check : Breathing Circuit Check added in the turn on process of the system
Note : The ‘Circuit Check’ should be done for

‘Circuit Volume Compensation’ before
use for safety using the system.
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
3) Leak Compensation
‘Tube compliance volume compensation function’ is added in Volume support mode ; (VACV, VSIMV).
4) Expiration Pressure Sensor disconnected and Proximal Pressure sensor disconnected detection
function added.
Safety is improved at expiration pressure port and/or proximal pressure sensor disconnection.

Improved functions
1) Improved the Volume Support against patient self-breath.
: the possibility of lung collapse improved in VACV, VSIMV mode.
Note: New MV2000 volume support(VACV, VSIMV) is a very useful mode in patient who fail to
Ventilator have acute lung injury. If set up correctly the patient, even with a partial respiratory
drive, should incur minimal work in breathing.(Adequate Volume support).
Care must be taken that the patient does not hyperventilate and develop significant respiratory

alkalosis.
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
2. Improved functions
2) Improved P-V Tool : Bi-direction (Pressure and Volume Curve) measuring process.
3) Improved the leak compensation.
Mask On: Leak flow Up to 20lpm, Mask Off: Up to 6lpm
Intensive Care Solution MV2000
3. Caution
1) Relative leak compensation.
When leak flow is displayed, need clarified ‘Real leak’ or’ Temporal leak’.
(Patient’s breathing should be checked.)
Specially, ‘Mask On’ function should be used in non-invasive ventilation.
2) After Expiration Flow Sensor cleaning or sterilization, The sensor should be dried well.
If the system has a calibration with the sensor which is not cleaned or dried well, it would make an
abnormal operation. Normally the system does not need the Inspiration-Expiration Calibration process
when is not there any mechanical sensor changing, Especially the Expiration Flow Sensor. When the
user executes an Inspiration-Expiration Calibration, should be checked a perfect condition of
the Expiration Flow sensor. Flow Zeroing calibration does not need to do very often, because the
system has a Flow Zeroing calibration automatically when the system has stopped and restart.
When the system has an Inspiration-Expiration Calibration after Flow Zeroing is not a right process.
