We tell them different currency of few nation two like USA , russia along with india etc ● Understanding the history of Indian currency. ● Through the activity, children gained awareness of different types of Indian currency, including notes that are no longer in circulation (demonetized) and current notes and coins in use ● They get to know about currencies of few well known countries Observation from activity During this activity, children showed interest and curiosity while learning about Indian currency. They examined both old, demonetized notes and current ones in circulation. Highlights of money day Day & date Activity Learning and observation Day 4: Creative day (11-06-24) Making flower pot from waste plastic bottle Learning outcomes ● Children learn about recycling and reducing plastic waste. ● They explore artistic expression through decorating and repurposing materials. We taught children how to create flower pots using waste plastic bottles. Observation Childrens showed enthusiasm and creativity while crafting flower pots from recycled plastic bottles. Highlights of creative day Day & date Activity Learning Day 5 : 12-06-24 On Survey Day, interns were divided into groups of three. Each group was tasked with conducting a survey on transportation facilities. Learning outcome Survey Day The objective for each group was to gather responses from at least 100 individuals regarding their modes of transport while travelling outside the village , frequency of use, preferences, satisfaction levels, and suggestions for improvement regarding transportation facility and local transportation options in village we learned how we can utilised team work by assigning roles based on individual strengths, (such as language skills) to maximise survey completion and accuracy For eg - we assign Gujarati-speaking members to ask survey question from villager so that villager can accurately understand what we really want to ask ,and member that are not well in speaking Gujarati were tasked with recording responses from villagers We gained practical experience in implementing surveys to gather information from a diverse group of respondents
