Đô ̣ng từ hoă ̣c danh từ khi thêm –s hoă ̣c –es đươ ̣c phát âm như sau:
1. /ɪz/ sau đô ̣ng từ hoă ̣c danh từ tâ ̣n cùng bằ ng những âm /s/, /z/, /ʃ(sh)/, /ʒ/ (ge rouge)\, /tʃ(ch)/, /dʒ/ (dge,ge)
Thông thường, tận cùng của các từ này sẽ kết thúc bằng ce, x, z, sh, ch, s, ge.
