Research Objective:
The main objective of this study is to investigate the factors of herding behavior among
investors in Malaysia stock market.
i. To identify the relationship between information and herding behavior among investors in
Bangladesh stock market.
ii. To identify the relationship between overconfidence and herding behavior among investors
in Bangladesh stock market.
iii. To identify the relationship between market sentiment and herding behavior among
investors in Bangladesh stock market.
iv. To identify the relationship between experience and herding behavior among investors in
Bangladesh stock market.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
To reach the above stated purposes, the relevant data has collected from the primary and secondary
sources. A primary data has collected by conducting a sample survey of totally randomly selected
investors through a well-designed and complete questionnaire. This present study received
information from () investors and information gathered through convenient sampling method.
H1: Information is positively correlated to investors’ herding behavior in Bangladesh stock market.
H2: Overconfidence is positively correlated to investors’ herding behavior in Bangladesh stock
market.
H3: Market sentiment is positively correlated to investors’ herding behavior in Bangladesh stock
market.
