While the Shanghai Entry and Exit Administration Bureau (EEAB) offices remain closed during the lockdown, EEAB has
announced its commitment to ensure service availability during the lockdown. Especially for those who need to leave
the country due to urgent reasons such as attending school overseas, visiting critically ill patients, funerals, or
participating in major projects for epidemic prevention and control, the EEAB will provide a green channel. Applicants
should call the EEAB hotline at 12367 for assistance on their urgent cases. Once the necessary documents have been
verified, the EEAB staff will respond with an appointment time for you to be present at EEAB office. In light of the
current COVID-19 situation, EEAB has introduced precautionary measures such as travel history declarations and the
taking of temperatures for all visitors before entering their premises. Visitors are also required to present their green
Health QR Code, Trip Code, 48 hours negative PCR test results, and to wear a mask in their public area.
EEAB have reported that they would exercise flexibility in visa and permit extensions for foreigners in view of COVID-19
disruptions and extended lockdown. Please renew your visas/permits expeditiously when travel and operations resume
normalcy.

Pet owners are advised to stock up on the necessary pet supplies and make advance arrangements with your vet, boarding facility,
neighbour or other emergency contact(s) to pick up and look after your pet, in the event you are required to move to centralised
