Some actions may be considered correct in certain religions but the others may disagree. There are conflicts between the values and beliefs between religions. Candidate 1 wants to research how the culture in Singapore can be preserved and assimilated. Candidate 2 wants to research how the racial harmony in the country can promote diversity between different ethnic groups. Candidate 3 wants to research on national identity because being engrossed only in religion and culture alone will not help to improve social networks but with the help of national identities, it can be helpful to look at the bigger picture. Candidate 1: Wants to research about the role of religions and it values and beliefs in the society. What is the role of religion in society: Religion plays a significant role in the lives of many Singaporeans and immigrants, and there may be discussion around the appropriate role of religion in society, including issues like religious freedom, tolerance, and the intersection of religion and politics. Candidate 2: Research on the actions taken by the government to give equal importance to all values and beliefs. Racial harmony: Despite efforts to promote racial harmony, there may still be tensions between different ethnic groups in Singapore, particularly in areas like employment, housing, and education. Candidate 3: Research on national identity because being engrossed only in religion and culture alone will not help to improve social networks but with the help of national identities, it can be helpful to look at the bigger picture. National identity: As a young nation, Singapore may still be grappling with questions around national identity, including what it means to be Singaporean and how to balance cultural heritage with modernity.
