Pulido, equally intellectual School heads of Gonzaga East District who are with us today, supportive barangay officials headed by Hon. Arturo V. Alvarez, equally talented and devoted teacher of Sta. Cruz Elementary School, headed by Ma’am Jonalyn Lucas, to the very active and innovative GPTA Officials and members led by Mrs. Wevelyn V. Enriquez, visitors and friends, ladies and gentlemen a blessed afternoon to all. We gathered here today to celebrate and witness the Graduation and Moving Up ceremony of Batch 2024. One of the significant events in a student’s life is a graduation. And since it is the end of one stage of our learning acquisition, it brings also a mixture of joy and pain. Joy for reaching some of our goal and move to another step of education and PAIN for bidding goodbyes to the place once we called HOME and to the people who became part of our success. It is quite sad for us that this day, we are going to untie our knot in this institution. We would end this day by walking away from our peers, teachers and friends. We would now miss all the things that we do in school; both the GOOD AND THE BAD sometimes. We would now long for our so called “second NANAY OR TATAY”; our teachers. No more bundles of advices and sometimes strict reminders from our adviser. No more “CHIKAHAN LIKE BEFORE” with our classmates and to our teachers sometimes. No more rushing out to the canteen during recess and most of all playing hide and seek during leisure time. With this situation, GOODBYES are not forever and it is not the end of everything. Farewell are a sign of a new beginning, new milestone and new discoveries what we have and new goal to attain. Remember that “a Journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Let us now leave the previous level of learning adventure and move to its next level and be persevere along the journey toward success. AGAIN WELCOME WELCOME CONGRATULATIONS TO US. THANK YOU!
