For each aspect, there are three descriptors and guidance that explains in more detail what to look for. A learner who demonstrated the: • The highest descriptor would be very well prepared to begin studying IGCSE or O Level Art & Design • middle descriptor would be prepared to begin studying IGCSE or O Level Art & Design • The lowest descriptor would benefit from further support if they decided to study IGCSE or O Level Art & Design. OBSER VING LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES DESCRIPTORS: LEVELS OF PERFORMANCE ASPECTS / SKILLS Recording from observation. WORKING TOWARD EXPECTED STANDARDS I can recognise and record simple shapes, colours and surface appearance from observation.
