(use do or does + verb)
Singular Subject (1)
What does he like?
He likes ice cream. He does not like fruit.
When does your sister study?
My sister studies at night. She does not study in the afternoon.
Plural Subject (more than 1)
What do the boys like?
The boys like ice cream. The boys do not like vegetables.
What do you like? What do I like?
Nouns = people, animals, places, things
(use am/is/are + nouns)
Present Tense
I am a student.
He is a doctor.
This / That is Malaysia.
She is a teacher.
We are nurses.
John and Tom are mechanics.
These / Those are rhinos.
PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
• Time expression : now, at the moment, at present, today, tonight, this Sunday
(near future)
