Sales Tools and Resources Hello guys, I’m looking to get into sales and have been searching around for a good course to take on the topic. I was recommended NEPQ by a friend but when digging into this sub I’ve seen a few comments on how NEPQ is just a worse version of Michael Oliver’s Natural Selling course. Thing is, all these comments are from a week ago and I can’t say I’m not a little suspicious on the fact they all popped up around the same time for a course that dates back to 2021. Can anyone vouch for the course or share their opinions? Archived post. Jeremy Miner spent several years selling in the Network Marketing Industry. 2. Jeremy Miner trained under Michael Oliver for several years. 3. 7th Level training, the Methodology and material was lifted from Mr. Oliver WITHOUT his permission by Jeremy Miner. 4. Miner or his CEO Matt Ryder never once mention Michael Oliver as the TRUE CREATOR of the NEPQ Methodology. 5. Jeremy Miner is a thief, fraud, and should be sued for copyright violations. 6. NEPQ and all the material was stolen from Natural Selling. 7. Miner credits Socrates and his Behavioral Science college professor as the inspiration behind the creation of NEPQ Methodology. Which by the way, Miner DOES NOT have a college degree in Behavioral Science! He took a class and deceptively words it on youtube videos as being "trained" in behavioral science. So Jeremy, I took a college accounting class...Does that make r/sales my tone) lol me an accountant? (notice Log In If you want to learn the methodology and give the real genius (Michael Oliver) credit, in addition to saving yourself thousands learning from the fraud Jeremy Miner you can just buy the book from Natural Selling. It's all there. I think you'll be shocked at how blatant the plagiarism is. Here's just a snippet of the similarities. 7 Smart_Departure_640 • 1y ago TLDR - good course; designed for leads and phone sales, Michael Oliver said Jeremy copied him. I recently bought Natural selling course (yesterday) completed it last night. (Not a long course) I also purchased his $7 book the mindset of natural selling- the goal is to ask thoughtful questions at the right time to find out if there’s a need; if there’s a need and they’re not willing to act; if there’s a need and they’re willing to act. Or if there’s not a need. The purpose is to take the surface level stuff they say which is logical - for example - I’m in the security industry. And someone says “I want more cameras” okay that looks like a need but that’s not enough to make them act. So you ask an awareness question. “And if you could get more cameras, what exactly would that solve for you?” And you allow them to explain why they want more cameras, and then you can ask a consequence question “I see, that makes sense, and seeing how (explain what they said) have you ever thought about what would or could happen if you didn’t get more cameras?” You’re probing to really find their problem! You’re essentially letting them tell you everything they want and you’re asking questions and then by the end of the discovery stage you’re then presenting on all the problems they told you during the discovery stage. I finished this last night, so the articulation and finesse needed is the real goal. But you also have to know the questions. This morning I had a 1 on 1 with Michael and he explained he’s coming out with a new course that goes deeper and brings everything together smoother a she feels this course is choppy. Said it will be out in 3 weeks. Now I asked him about Jeremy miner and he said he copied everything from michaels training. And that Jeremy was working with him making about 500,000 in revenue and when he took off them he started doing this 7th level. Do I recommend the course, yes I believe it is helpful and can really level up your question based selling. What I don’t like about it, it’s more for cold CALLING. I’m in door to door, so the breaking preoccupation isn’t there. A lot of it is based on lead generators and connecting with them AFTER the lead comes in. Helping people that are looking for the help. Where as door to door you’re not trying to solve someone’s problems they don’t know they have. So the questions are good, but the initial wall is going to be difficult to break. 2 5 more replies SchoolSafetySam • 1y ago If you want to learn the methodology and give the real genius (Michael Oliver) credit, in addition to saving yourself thousands learning from the fraud Jeremy Miner you can just addition to saving yourself thousands learning from the fraud Jeremy Miner you can just buy the book from Natural Selling. Pick up some sales podcasts or books/audibles and it'll have more than enough info for you. Sales is often more about experience and if you have the resilience to grind than theory. 1 Smart_Departure_640 • 1y ago False. Sales is about confidence and trusting the process. If you don’t trust YOUR process you won’t make sales. There’s multiple different processes and some don’t work, others do. Some work for some and some don’t. Courses are not bad, ZIG ZIGLAR went from course to course until he made it. Brian Tracy went from audio books, to sales training courses to online courses all throughout his career 1 3 more replies NogginRep • 1y ago • Edited 1y ago I hear Cintas and Xerox have excellent sales training programs and some companies seek their sales reps specifically. 1 ARKM_V • 9mo ago It's probably through 7th Level (Jeremy Miner) 1 1 more reply Organic_Release1211 • 9mo ago Who can give feedback on the course? 1 More posts you may like r/Kitboga Steve Harvey scam r/sales Log In 22 upvotes · 13 comments r/sales Investing in Sales Training 24 upvotes · 65 comments r/CryptoCurrency Is Richard Heart a fraud and scammer?
