RE: APPLICATION FOR WAIVER ON PENALTY FOR THE YEARS 2021 AND 2022 ON
PIN NUMBER A017226440N.
I am hereby writing this letter to request for a waiver for my KRA PIN Number A017226440N under
the Income Tax Resident Individual obligation. I was unable to file my returns for the years “2021 &
2022” as I was still in College pursuing my studies.
At the time I got the KRA PIN, I did not have a source of Income and was still in College. I wasn’t
aware of the yearly filing of the returns for unemployed individuals. This came to my knowledge
when it was already late and when I did filing, the penalties were imposed.
I therefore with utmost great honour and respect do hereby write this letter requesting your humble
office for waiver on the above penalty.
