Electronics Fosters Globalization
Remember days when people rely on written letters to connect over long
distances? Where it is delivered by the ‘messengers’ - individuals who deliver
messages by foot, horseback, or by ship. This process takes time ~ hours, days, weeks,
or even months over long distances. It also carries a degree of uncertainty to the
sender whether its message is received and understood, until a certain response which
takes the same process- it takes time. Not only is it uncertain and time-consuming , but
the cost of courier services is out of reach for so many people. And what is its effect? Of
course, it retains the high social barriers in local and strong geographical barriers across
the globe.
Then look at us now. Picture out how different and advanced our communication
system is in today's world that reshapes how we connect and stretch our connection
across borders to borders. With a single click, messages zip across the globe,
delivering the message in the fastest pace and easiest way. Sending text messages is
not the only thing that we are capable of, due to advanced electronics and internet
connectivity we are able to share clear images, and videos and even hold an online
meeting or conference transcending communication in long distance at its highest form.
How is this possible? Simple, electronic devices and the internet they power.
Electronic smartphones and the internet have broken these barriers at an astonishing
pace. Today, electronics are miniaturized yet incredibly efficient with functional features
that offer a wide range of communication systems that enrich and revolutionize the way
we connectand. Communication transcends its purpose in different ways- fashion,
entertainment, education, news, and even business. In effect, globalized society rapidly
flourishes creating a place for cultural diversity, economic growth and
interconnectedness.
This showcases how advanced electronics
fosters globalization pushing
boundaries of what's possible. Harnessing the power of electronics creates a world
where communication fosters collaboration, understanding, and a more connected
future for all of us.
