Harry is famous in the magic world because of this but is Voldemort dead or is he still alive seeking revenge. Harry’s journey doesn’t end there many spells and fights and a encounter with a 3 headed dog and so much more this book is filled with action and magical adventures. J.K Rowling introduces many characters in this book main ones being Ron Weasley and Hermione granger in the book they become harry potters’ best friend and accompany him in his magical adventure Rowling shows what friendship means and how friends should stick together always. Many people can also relate to harry potter epically people who have lost their parents and are not exposed to love and affection and have been told they are hopeless and won’t get anywhere in life. Rowling use of language is one of the reasons why the book and the entire series has been a massive success Rowling often uses words that are created by a fusion of two words for example ‘merpeople’ Mer for mermaid and people. Rowling also uses words that people think is made up for example Hogwarts we think this is a fusion of hog and warts but is actually a plant so Rowling hides words just like the magic world is being hidden to humans. Rowling uses a bit of Latin in the spells that harry uses for example experlimaus which means let us be expelled in Latin which matches the spell since it is expelling the attack and defending the wizard. One of the most remarkable aspects of the philosopher’s stone is J.K Rowling ability to create a fully immersive universe with detail such as diagon alley and the enchanting corridor of Hogwarts brings the magical world alive and drags the reader into the book and its magical adventures Rowling’s creativity with the philosopher’s stone from the spells to the characters of the book truly makes this uniquely remarkable
