Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that primarily affects memory, thinking, and behavior. It is characterized by the gradual loss of recent and past memories, as well as confusion and errors in judgment. People with Alzheimer's disease may struggle with recalling recent events, remembering familiar faces or places, and making sound decisions. As the disease progresses, individuals may experience difficulty with language, disorientation, and changes in mood and personality. This approach recognizes that students have different learning styles, abilities, and prior knowledge, and that a "one-size-fits-all" approach may not be effective for all students. Instead, teachers employ various instructional strategies, learning materials, and assessment methods to meet the individual needs of their students. This can include providing additional support or challenge, using different instructional formats (such as small group work or individual projects), and offering choices in assignments or topics of study. Differentiated teaching aims to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. It promotes personalized learning experiences, encourages student engagement, and fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter. By catering to the unique needs of each student, differentiated teaching helps to ensure that all learners have an equitable opportunity to succeed. 88. The disease typically begins with mild memory loss and progresses to more severe symptoms over time. It is important to note that the correct answer may depend on the specific context and sources being referred to. However, based on current understanding and commonly used educational resources, Alzheimer's disease is the most appropriate answer for the given symptoms. The correct answer is D. Autonomy. Based on Erikson's psychosocial theory, the statement "I do things without worrying about them" is associated with the stage of development called "Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt." The child's behavior reflects a sense of autonomy. In Erikson's theory, this stage typically occurs during the early childhood years, around ages 1 to 3. During this period, children develop a sense of independence and autonomy as they explore the world around them and begin to assert their will. They want to do things on their own and may express a strong desire to accomplish tasks without relying on constant help from caregivers. 90. What does differentiated teaching mean? 92. While goals such as desiring to pass grades, achieving a high ranking among peers, and striving for success in high grades can provide some motivation, they are more focused on external rewards and extrinsic motivation. These goals may lead to short-term compliance but may not necessarily foster a genuine love and appreciation for learning. In a behaviorist approach, the teacher focuses on shaping and reinforcing specific behaviors by providing clear instructions, offering rewards or punishments, and using repetitive practice activities to ensure mastery of the subject matter. The emphasis is on the teacher's control of the learning environment and the use of structured drills and exercises to reinforce desired behaviors and outcomes. On the other hand, the goal of developing a love for learning is more intrinsic and focuses on the inherent joy and curiosity that comes from acquiring knowledge and understanding. When students have a genuine love for learning, they become self-motivated to explore new topics, engage in deep learning, and seek out opportunities for growth and development. 132. Learners who are not capable of logical reasoning from ages 8 to 11 lag behind in their cognitive development. D. Let children be children. The correct answer is C. Assist the LGUs in their endeavor to prepare the child for adulthood. While it is important to support children's development and prepare them for adulthood, this specific objective is not commonly associated with the Early Childhood Care and Development Act. The focus of this act is typically on the early stages of a child's life, from birth onward, and ensuring their holistic development in various areas such as physical, social, emotional, cognitive, psychological, spiritual, and language development (as mentioned in option D). The correct answer is A. Expect hypothetical reasoning from learners between 12 to 15 years of age. According to Piaget's theory, the formal operations stage typically occurs around adolescence, between the ages of 12 and 15. During this stage, individuals develop the ability to think hypothetically and engage in abstract reasoning. Therefore, an educational implication would be to expect and support learners within this age range in developing their hypothetical reasoning skills. This implies that educators can design learning activities and tasks that encourage students to think critically, consider multiple perspectives, and engage in hypothetical thinking. By fostering these skills, educators can help students enhance their logical and abstract thinking abilities, which are crucial for problem-solving and higher-order thinking. 157. Bernadette enjoyed the roller coaster when they went to Enchanted Kingdom. Just at the sight of a roller coaster, she gets excited. Which theory explains Bernadette’s behavior? A. comprehend the subject that is being studied B. analyze the parts of a whole C. evaluate the worthiness of a thing D. relate and organize things and ideas The correct answer is C. Pavlovian conditioning. Based on the information provided, the theory that best explains Bernadette's behavior is Pavlovian conditioning, also known as classical conditioning. Pavlovian conditioning is a type of associative learning in which a neutral stimulus becomes associated with a meaningful or significant stimulus, leading to a conditioned response. The correct answer is D. Relate and organize things and ideas. This ability is crucial for connecting different aspects of the poem, identifying patterns, and organizing thoughts and observations into meaningful insights. By relating various elements of the poem and organizing them into a coherent interpretation, students can develop a deeper understanding of the poem and generate insightful observations. In this case, the sight of a roller coaster is the neutral stimulus, and Bernadette's excitement is the conditioned response. It suggests that Bernadette has had previous positive experiences or associations with roller coasters, which have led to her developing an excited response just by seeing one. 158. The following are professional responsibilities of a learning facilitator in the new normal condition except one. Which is the exception? A. Prepare learning continuity plan and module for flexible learning (online and offline) facilitation, B. Prepare learning materials, worksheets and activity sheets to be shared and disseminated to students only thru online platform. C. Prepare video lessons, either for synchronous (live) or asynchronous (video on-demand) to be presented to or viewed by students. D. Present immediate feedbacks and comments on students' outputs and works upon checking or correcting in time. The correct answer is D. I, II, III & IV In the new normal condition, for the student to keep up with the lessons and requirements, including their participation, and to meet the expectations of the distance learning set-up, the need to have internet capacity, availability of gadgets, readiness in the new normal, and distance home places are the fundamental attributes where not only should the students comply but also the teachers and the facilitators. In the normal online class set-up, it is a basic necessity to have the internet and the available gadget so that the student can easily follow and listen while the teacher or the facilitator is discussing. Aside from this, caused by distance learning, the distance between home places is already considered one of the factors as to why the new normal should be held in the first place. The correct answer is B. Prepare learning materials, worksheets, and activity sheets to be shared and disseminated to students only through an online platform. This responsibility implies that the learning materials, worksheets, and activity sheets are exclusively shared and distributed through an online platform. In the new normal, it is crucial to consider various modes of instruction, including both online and offline methods, to accommodate students' diverse needs and access to technology. This option does not align with the responsibilities of a learning facilitator in the new normal because it disregards the offline learning aspect. It is also important to highlight that readiness in the new normal is important as students should be mentally and emotionally ready for what will come during their academic years, where they are not getting any physical support from the teachers and their classmates. Not being able to meet these attributes during the new normal will cause and provide further interruptions during the teaching-learning process. 166. By instilling these values to the students, the teacher is promoting social literacy by teaching them about appropriate behavior towards older individuals in their society. The correct answer is A. "more reinforcement exercises." The question states that there is a high correlation between students' mathematical problem comprehension and their computational skill. This means that students who have better computational skills are more likely to understand and solve math problems effectively. Therefore, it is important for a K to 12 teacher to provide more reinforcement exercises to enhance students' computational skills. These exercises can help students practice and improve their ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently, which in turn will contribute to their overall understanding of mathematical problems. Collaborative learning strategies, interdisciplinary approaches, seminars on problem solving, and computational skill enhancement may also be beneficial in certain contexts, but the most direct way to address the correlation between problem comprehension and computational skill is through additional practice and reinforcement exercises. 231. Players often need to react quickly and accurately based on visual cues presented on the screen, which requires demonstrative eye-hand coordination. II. Visual output and symbolic figures: Creating visual art and using symbolic figures can be a way for students to express their emotions and inner thoughts. This could potentially manifest signs of emotional attributes such as anxiety, depression, or even hints of suicidal tendencies if the student's art and symbols depict disturbing or distressing themes. II. Operating the microscope: Working with a microscope requires precise hand movements to adjust focus, position slides, and manipulate tiny specimens while using visual feedback from the microscope's eyepiece. This activity also involves demonstrative eye-hand coordination. III. Reflection journal: Maintaining a reflection journal can be a therapeutic practice for some students, but it can also be a platform where they openly express their emotions and thoughts. This written expression could indicate emotional attributes like anxiety, depression, or suicidal tendencies if the content suggests significant distress or despair. III. Dance steps to the tune of "Rumba": While dancing, individuals need to coordinate their body movements with the rhythm and beats of the music. Though this activity involves eye-hand coordination to some extent (e.g., partners maintaining visual contact and handholds), it is primarily based on body movement coordination rather than demonstrative eye-hand coordination. Thus, this activity does not primarily illustrate demonstrative eye-hand coordination. IV. Art expression and literary work of various kinds: Engaging in art expression and producing literary works can be a powerful means of emotional release. Students might use these creative outlets to convey their feelings, thoughts, and experiences, which could include signs of emotional attributes like anxiety, depression, or suicidal tendencies. IV. Watching favorite film in a cinema: Watching a film in a cinema is a passive activity that does not involve demonstrative eye-hand coordination. It mainly focuses on visual and auditory processing, but there is no active coordination between eyes and hands. 262. How can we rediscover and enhance the creativity of students at its best? A. Parent involvement should be regularly assessed towards quality assurance. II. Testing for marking purposes: Grading and marking assessments are common practices in education, and they play a role in measuring students' performance and assigning grades. While marking should not be the only purpose of testing, it remains a part of the overall assessment process. III. Testing as an aid of instruction: Formative assessments are valuable tools that aid instruction. They help teachers gather information about students' understanding, identify areas where students may be struggling, and adjust their teaching methods accordingly to support student learning. The correct answer is C. More related studies be conducted regarding the impact of parent involvement on pupils. While it is evident from the study that parent involvement has a positive effect on pupils' academic performance, attitude, and study habits, it is essential to base educational decisions on solid evidence and research. Conducting more studies would help to further validate and understand the relationship between parent involvement and student outcomes. These studies could also explore different forms of parent involvement and their varying impacts on students. IV. Testing to improve teaching: Assessments provide data and insights into the effectiveness of teaching methods and curriculum. By analyzing the results of assessments, teachers can make informed decisions to improve their teaching strategies and better meet the needs of their students. In the context of modern education, all of these concepts are considered acceptable and are essential elements of an effective assessment and instructional process. Teachers should be aware of significant deviations from their typical artistic style. III. Reflection journal: Keeping a reflection journal can provide valuable insights into a student's inner thoughts and emotions. If a student's reflections consistently revolve around feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, or thoughts of self-harm, it may indicate that they are experiencing emotional distress. The correct answer is D. I, II, III and IV I. Teachers should integrate CAI in the delivery of instruction. As explained earlier, this implication aligns with the benefits of properly managed computer-aided instruction, making it a valid point. IV. Expressed ideas and shared testimonies in the recitation: During class discussions or recitations, students may occasionally share personal experiences or thoughts related to their well-being. If a student talks about feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or expresses a lack of interest in their future, it might raise concerns. II. The school should invest in multimedia tools. This implication is also valid since investing in multimedia tools supports the integration of CAI and enhances the learning experience for students. III. Student need C. Availability of resources D. Societal demand In contrast, Option A only expresses the teacher's happiness without providing specific feedback, and Option C uses generic phrases like "very good" and "good job," which lacks specificity. Option B is better than A and C since it provides some specificity by mentioning the behavior of "sharing the cash register," but it could be improved by providing more details and explaining why that behavior is positive. The correct answer is B. Student need. The focus on student needs is a fundamental principle in modern education. It is essential for teachers to understand their students' individual learning styles, abilities, and interests to design an appropriate instructional approach. When teachers take into account the diverse needs of their students, they can create a more inclusive and effective learning environment. Therefore, Option D aligns more closely with the principles of effective praise in a 21st-century learning and teaching context. 279. Provide usable, safe and partial materials. Option B: "Provide usable, safe, and partial materials" seems to be the least relevant or clear in the context of the guidelines for selecting and using instructional materials for preschool. The term "partial materials" is not commonly used in educational contexts, and its relevance to preschool education is unclear. The correct answer B. Provide education to children in order to reach the point of academic maturity at an early stage. While early childhood education aims to enhance the total development of young children, including providing safe and nurturing care, helping children enter the mainstream of society successfully, and offering high-quality experiences for the development of the whole child, the goal of achieving academic maturity at an early stage is not a typical objective of early childhood education. In contrast, options A, C, and D align with established principles of preschool education, emphasizing hands-on experiences, promoting diversity, and purchasing highquality materials. These guidelines are more commonly recognized and considered important in early childhood education. Early childhood education primarily focuses on fostering holistic development, including cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative aspects, through playbased learning and age-appropriate activities, rather than emphasizing academic achievement at an early age. 282. The correct answer is D. You worked hard to put all the food on the shelves. Now, this store is ready for customers. And that was great! The reason why Option D is the most effective praise is that it provides specific and meaningful feedback to the students, acknowledging their effort and the positive outcome of their work. Effective praise should be specific, descriptive, and focused on the students' actions and achievements, rather than simply expressing the teacher's feelings or using generic phrases like "good job" or "keep it up." By highlighting the specific efforts made by the students, the teacher reinforces the behavior they want to see more of, which can lead to increased motivation and engagement in the learning process. The correct answer is A. I, II & III. The inclusion of factor IV, which pertains to the intellectual level and status of children, is not necessarily the most significant consideration. Developmentally appropriate curricula focus on meeting children where they are in their cognitive, emotional, and social development, rather than solely basing it on their intellectual level and status. Intellectual development is just one aspect of a child's overall growth, and it may not Page 55 To purchase additional copies of this book please message Sir Claide Facebook Page: CP No. 0951-3139-709 or send email to claidesierto27@gmail.com EXTENSIVE LET REVIEWER – PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (SIR CLAIDE PUBLISHING ONLY) always be the most accurate or comprehensive measure of their readiness and potential for learning. and understanding of diverse teaching strategies enable her to create an inclusive and effective learning environment for all students. 283.
