Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Department of English Language and Literature is
delighted to announce a call for papers for our second Undergraduate Conference. We welcome
submissions from undergraduate students to this unique platform, which will be held in person
at our university on October 23-24, 2024.
The primary objective of this conference is to provide a platform for undergraduate
students to showcase their research and scholarship in the fields of English language and
literature. It aims to offer students the opportunity to present their work, share their knowledge,
and receive feedback from their peers and experts in the field. Furthermore, the conference
provides a unique opportunity to network with other students and academics, learn about the
latest research in the field, and engage in intellectual discussions.
Submissions are open to undergraduates in the Departments of English Language and
Literature, American Culture and Literature, English Language Teaching, and English
Linguistics. The conference is free for all participants. The official languages of the conference
are English and Turkish, and presentations can be made in either language.
Possible topics might include, but are not limited to:

Literary analysis and critical theories
Comparative Literatures
Adaptation/Rewriting
Cultural studies
Art, film and visual studies
Creative writing
English Language Teaching
Linguistics
Submission Guidelines:
Please send your abstract proposal of 200–300 words (followed by five keywords) and a short
biography of a maximum of 50 words to okudell2024@gmail.com by June 9, 2024.
