Overview
Picard Bangladesh Lim ited, a Bangladeshi -Germ an joint
venture established in 1995 was founded as a com pany in
Germ any in 1928. Its reputation for producing high -quality
leather goods (including handbags, wallets, luggage, purses,
card holders, belts, and m ore) extends far beyond its hom e
country. The com pany is doing outstanding under the
leadership of Md. Saiful Islam MD of the com pany. The facility
is currently located 30 kilom eters north of Dhaka, in the heart
of the new industrial zone in Boro Rangam atia, kathgora,
Zirabo, Savar, Dhaka. The current eight -storied production
plant occupies a space of 25,000 sq m t.
Picard Bangladesh strives to live up to its m otto of "Never on
tim e, but always ahead of tim e".

Types of Cutting Machine
• Manual Long Handle End Cutting Machine (M.L.H.E.C.M): Used for cutting the lining. Total lining consumption is
given for products and the lining is cut according to measurement.
• Guillotine Flat Knife Paper Cutting Machine (G.F.K.P.C.M): Used for paper and PVC cutting.
• Plane Hydraulic Cutting Machine (P.H.C.M): Used for lining and reinforcement cutting.
• Hydraulic Swing Arm Cutting Press (H.S.A.C.P): Used for PU rough and net cut for both small leather goods
and big leather goods. Besides, the leather rough and net cut is also done for small leather goods and big leather
goods.
• Auto Cutting Machine (A.C.M.): Computer-controlled auto-cutting machine is used to cut hard material and
complex shapes.
• Strap Cutting Machine: Used for cutting the strap

Picard Bangladesh strictly follows com pliance, OSH
and International Labor Law. It has enough fire safety
equipm ent and they perform Fire Drill on a regular
basis in every 2 m onth. Internal auditor and 3 r d party
auditor audits on a regular basis to m aintain
international standards. Risk assessm ent is also
perform ed m aintaining ISO standards by auditors.
Every floor has first aid kit trained nurse and
param edics in case of accidents.
