Greetings:
In relation to your Notice To Proceed (NTP) dated August 2, 2023; we are humbly requesting for the
Suspension of Work to our newly awarded contract for the sub-project “Concreting of Road at
Brgy. Igbangcal-B”, Tobias Fornier, Antique.
Relevant to this request, we are appealing to your good office for consideration to please give us a
seven (7) days work suspension for the following reasons:

The soil condition more especially at the project site was slippery and muddy which takes days
or week to dry up due to Typhoon Goring and Southwest Monsoon that destroy our base
course and sub-base that is already fully compacted. We need to prepare and compact our sub
base course and base course again prior to the conduct of FDT.
The site is not workable from the period of August 26, 2023 to September 1, 2023 that
prevented us from our daily implementation.
Delivery of materials was suspended to ensure safety of working personnel and equipment.
In line with such cited problems we encountered in the previous weeks, I am again requesting your
humble consideration to grant us a Work Suspension Order No. 2 from August 26, 2023 to
September 1, 2023.
I am greatly thankful in advance for granting our request which in same manner we can work
together for the continuation and smooth implementation of your sub-project.
