• For other frequencies, copy the settings of the
frequency it is closer to, either 2110 or 734.
• The only parameter to change is K1 which is in
the Parameters tab. There are 4 K1s in that tab,
all of them will have the same value.
• To get the value for the new K1:
K1f2 = K1f1 + 23 log (f2/f1)
where f2 is the new frequency and f1 is either
734 or 2110. See next slide for example.
Example of K1 calculations
• f2 = 1967.5; f1 = 2110
K1f2 = K1f1 + 23 log (f2/f1)
= 20.32 + 23 log (1967.5/2110)
= 19.62
• f2 = 887; f1 = 734
K1f2 = K1f1 + 23 log (f2/f1)
= 18.18 + 23 log (887/734)
= 20.07
