Introduction
GENERAL
The MC520 is a general purpose software-controlled ECU for automotive use in 24V
systems.
The MC520 can execute a wide variety of functions, depending on software
configurations. Software for the MC520 is developed using the µ−Graph tool for user
programming functions.
INTERNAL
Central Processing Unit
-Main Controller: Phillips XA
-512 Flash EPROM
-32k RAM
-EEPROM serial 1k word
-10 bit A/D converter
-2 CAN controllers
-Watch Dog with under voltage protection
-Usable for applications:
-400k Flash
-25k RAM
-128 word EEPROM
Software
-OS is designed to be used with µ Graph.
-OS segment is directly connected to the hardware.
-OS software is detailed in an additional specification.
Software Tools
-Software tools are detailed in an additional specification.
End of Line Programming
-The Flash EPROM is programmed via CAN-BUS or RS-232 systems. The
program checks for boot command at startup.
