Star Life Cycle Poster - Foundations
Objective: Students will be able to model the life cycle of a low, medium, high or very high mass star with
descriptions for each stage of the life cycle.
Requirements
Choose a low, medium, high or very high mass star
Title “Life Cycle of a __________ Mass Star”
Create a model showing the major events in that star’s life cycle
Labels for each stage of the star’s life cycle
Descriptions for each stage of the star’s life cycle (ie, what did the stellar nebula do to become a
protostar)
Neat and colored models/poster
Grading - 15 points
- 12 points for poster
- 5 points for accurate descriptions
- 4 points for colored models
- 1 point for correct order of star’s life cycle
- 1 point for title
- 1 point for creativity/neatness
- 3 points for questions
