Participate in team/ class discussion for your service learning activities. Clarify any doubts about service learning with your team or lecturer. Submit your worksheet to “Worksheet Submission” in LEO2.0 by 2359. If you are absent from class, you still need to complete and submit the worksheet retrospectively. Questions: • Explain what your team/ class is planning for the service learning project. (e.g. you could write about your team’s discussion, considerations and proposal) (min 80 words) My team is team 5. We have decided to choose do a hybrid of quizes and music & performance. Our team brainstormed and decided on 3 activities to carry out in Ren Ci. The first activity we decided on was to play charades with the elderly, we decided on this because we felt that this game was a game that the elderlies may have never played before and we thought that it will be a good idea to introduce a game to them that is played today in the present. The second activity we decided on was a song quiz, we will play some songs for the elderly and we will ask them to try and guess the songs that we played. We will play some songs that were from the 1950s-1960s as they may know the older songs better. Lastly, we decided on a game that we call "How well do you know Singapore?" it is a game that tests the elderly on their memory of Singapore's landmarks. We will show them a picture of the landmark in the present before showing them a picture of the landmark in the past. This way they will be able to see how much Singapore has changed over the years.
