Love Nikki Queen among dress-up games When it comes to mobile games I always prefer dress-up games among any other game categories. Years ago I stumbled upon Nikki Up2U--- an offline dress-up game. What made Nikki different from any other dress-up games that I played was its stories. Aside from lovely designed clothes and accessories, Nikki was packed with compelling stories and lovely characters. I remembered how religiously I played the game till the end, and bought all of the clothes without spending a penny, only through pure hard-work. Many years later, many things happened. I am not that addicted to games as I was before. However, one day I was bored so I decided to play a new game to pass time. While scrolling in the playstore I suddenly remembered the game Nikki Up2U. I searched it up and learned that it has a continuation. So I downloaded the game and started playing with high hopes and I’m telling you, Nikki never disappoints. I thought that the first game was good but the second game was even better. Everything I wanted in a dress-up game was in there: hundreds of beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories and so much more. Love Nikki revolved around Nikki and her pet Momo and their journey in Miraland--- a magical place where dresses and designs were everything. All the citizens there settled things through a dress-up challenges. This kind of set-up made way for a much larger story and challenges! There were more characters in love Nikki and all of them have different personalities that makes them unique and memorable. The only thing that I think that fell short in this game is Nikki’s character. I love Nikki in the first game because of her cute dumbness but at the same time she was simple, relatable and funny. In love Nikki, I couldn’t see the Nikki that I love in the first game but it’s something that can be simply overlook with the amount of additional features in the game. In the previous Nikki that I played it was merely reading chapters of stories then dressing up for the occasion or situation, in Love Nikki you can compete with other players like you. It’s also possible to change the colors of some clothes, upgrade it or changed its pattern. Once you reached a certain level, you can have your own home and decorate it as you pleased. There are many groups such as communities and associations where you can join to interact and play together with other players. You can take a picture of your avatar and post it in the game for other people to see. The interaction with other players gives the illusion of an in-game community where people can share ideas and out love for the game. It’s something that many dress-up games lacked. The game is also packed with events that give awesome prices and suits. But what I really liked about this is game is it’s not forcing you to pay in order to have elegant clothes. It’s easy to earn coins and diamonds and the game isn’t stingy in giving free suits and clothes. All the clothes have their own charm and using your own creativity you can look absolutely stunning without paying real money. Being a F2P player, it absolutely put my creativity to the test. Sometimes (most of the times) I yearned for the lovely collections that requires real money and every time, all I can do is sulked in a corner because I can’t afford it but hey, it’s part of the experience. I’m a new player of Love Nikki and still exploring the game but so far I’m loving it! If you’re just like me who is a sucker for dress-up games then play Love Nikki and I’m positive that you’re going to love it.
