If the ideas come from a speaker who is an expert or a master of his/her topic. If the ideas are all connected to each other. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY EVALUATING SPOKEN TEXT? WHAT DOES EVALUA TION MEAN? EVALUATING is an activity in which we try to judge the worth or quality of something using a set of criteria Spoken texts present ideas thru speech (spoken words ) PUBLIC SPEAKING vlogs videos presentations news reports speeches Set of criteria in evaluating SPOKEN TEXTS FLUENCY has three parts: correct pronunciation of words, proper speed and volume of speaking, and proper phrasing or grouping of words and sentences TONE is the emotion of the speaker expressed thru voice. A good speaker varies the tone of his/her voice depending on the situation and doesn’t speak in only tone all throughout the speech. If you speak in only one tone, it is monotonous and can be a reason your audience will lose interest. COHESION means the ideas of the speaker are all connected to each other. There is a clear flow of ideas from the beginning of the speaking up to the end CORRECTNESS means the ideas of the speaker are accurate or are meaningful. There is also correctness if what the speaker is saying is based on facts, researches, observations, and personal experiences.
